A THURROCK university student is offering her specialist help and advice to parents concerned about home schooling.

In the wake of today's announcement that schools are to close after Friday, Molly Kent, 21, from Grays, who is just completing her final year at university in Canterbury but us currently at home, took to social media to offer help.

She says: " If you are homeschooling/remotely/digitally educating your kids, if you need assistance with understanding something that has been assigned for your child, give me a shout!

"I've got experience volunteering with KS1 and KS2 students and have a degree in English literature, but I am willing to help with anything!

"My teacher friend Lee Paul is also on board and we will be happy to answer questions and happy to try and help! We're all in it together!"

Molly can be contacted through her Facebook page
