A FREE Halloween event has been planned in the centre of Stanford-le-Hope on Sunday.

It will be hosted by the Howgates Estate Agency on King Street which is opening up for local families. The shop front has been decorated especially to mark Halloween.

Familes will be welcomed on Sunday, 31 October between 3 and 6pm to enjoy a host of activities including face-painting, a kids disco, arts and crafts, pumpkin pong, cake decorating, street entertainers and more.

The event is free as is the face painting and activities and all the staff will be dressing up to entertain families who will attend.
