Park is ready for Remembrance

By Nub News Reporter   28th Oct 2025

GOBIONS Park in East Tilbury has had its traditional Remembranace Day dressing.

Poppies and silhouette figures adorn the park enstrabnce, by the rail crossing on Princess Margaret Road.

The work has largely been carried out by local resident Ed Sammons, and this year's includes new figures thanks to the efforts of Carl Osborne for drawing them up for Ed to make out of wood.

Thurrock Nub News will be delighted to feature your area's Remembrance tribute. Please email details and pictures to [email protected] or submit them directly via this link.
