Residents and campaigners opposing planned village homes development

RESIDENTS in Orsett, together with green belt preservation campaigners will be meeting tomorrow (Sunday, 11 May) to consider the impact of two new developments planned for the village.
The meeting, organised by R.A.D.I.O (Residents Against Development In Orsett) will take place from 7 to 9pm at the Village Hall on Mill Lane, RM16 3GY.
It is proposed to share discussions to date and any plans for opposition.

The second development in the pipeline is for up to 187 homes on land to the east of the Whitmore Arms, stretching from the Showground to Prince Charles Avenue.
