AN application has been submitted to Thurrock Council to build a new home on land adjacent to an exisiting terraced block in Chadwell St Mary.

The new building would be an extension to an exisiting semi-detached home on Sabina Road and would have two bedooms.

The applicant says the scheme has been designed to 'contribute to the area' by 'respecting the neighbourhood's character and maintaining a strong sense of place while providing a high-quality residential dwelling house'.

The existing view and how the new setting is imagined.

And the proposal goes on to say: "The proposed design has been carefully considered to minimise its physical impact and to create a development that is not overbearing in scale, but a compact, with the use of traditional materials and architectural addition to the roofscape."
