Updated: Body found on rural pathway

POLICE have confirmed the discovery and recovery of a body close to East Tilbury this morning (Tuesday, 20 April).
A statement from Essex police says: "We received a call relating to concerns for the welfare of a man in a path to the seawall, in East Tilbury, this morning Tuesday 20 April, shortly after 8.05am.
"We arrived alongside colleagues from the ambulance service and, sadly, found a man had died.
"His death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner."
