POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a serious incident in Grays that involved a vehicle collision nand a confrontation in a pub.

Officers were called to Dock Road to reports that two people had been in collision with a vehicle at around 11.30pm on Thursday, 25 August.

They were both taken to hospital with injuries that are not thought to be life-threatening.

This incident is believed to be linked to an earlier altercation in a nearby pub and a man and a woman were arrested at the scene on suspicion of GBH.

They have both been bailed until 19 and 20 September.
