AN area of Grays was cordoned off this morning (Saturday, 19 September) while police investigated an assault last night.

Officers were called to the incident in Broadway, Little Thurrock, at just after 10.15pm.

One victim, a man in his 20s, received treatment for injuries which are not described as life-threatening or life changing.

Police enquiries are ongoing and a statement from the local force says:
