Police probing discovery of cannabis plants after disturbance in town street

POLICE in Grays are investigating the discovery of a cannabis farm following a disturbance in the town in the early hours of this morning.

A statement from the force says:" We were called to reports of a disturbance at an address on Hampden Road, Grays, at around 12.50am on Thursday, 10 December.

"Officers attended and discovered around 30 cannabis plants at the property. They have been seized.

"Our enquiries are ongoing and no arrests have been made at this time."
