POLICE who believe a misguided friendship may be stopping a missing boy from being found have renewed a plea for information.

Officers are continuing the search for Druie Price, who is missing from his home in St Leonards in Sussex.

Druie, 15, has been missing since 16 June and it is believed that he may have travelled to Essex where he has links to Grays and Basildon.

A statement from the Essex force says: "We believe Druie may be being supported by individuals who are enabling him to stay missing and we are concerned for his welfare.

"He is described as white, 6ft tall, of a medium build, with brown eyes, black hair shaved at the sides, and a scar on the back of his neck.

"He was last seen wearing dark coloured shorts and a grey t-shirt with a black zip hood jacket.

"If you see Druie or know of his whereabouts, please call us immediately on 101 or 999 in an emergency."
