POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a collision involving a pedestrian and a car in West Thurrock last month. 

Officers were called to London Road at around 7.45am on Saturday, 14 January following reports of a fail to stop collision, where a pedestrian was injured. 

The female pedestrian was taken to hospital with injuries not deemed to be life-changing. 

The vehicle involved in this collision failed to stop at the scene and officers are appealing for the public's help in identifying it. 

A statement says: "If you witnessed this collision, or have any further information, CCTV, dash cam or other footage , please contact us.
