Police want to start the year with more talk

POLICE in Thurrock are going into 2026 wityba determination to improve contact with local commities.

The force has set up a number of 'Let's Talk' events when local officers will meet with local people.

Those already arranged include:

Tuesday 13 January 10:30am to 11:30am

Corringham Library, St John's Way

Friday 16 January 1:30pm to 2:30pm

Pyramid Centre, Heath Road, Chadwell St Mary

Friday 16 January 3pm to 4pm

Bulphan Village Hall, Church Road

Tuesday 20 January 12pm to 1:30pm

South Essex College, High Street, Grays

Wednesday 21 January 12:30pm to 1:30pm

The Beacon Centre, Drake Road, Chafford Hundred

Wednesday 21 January 12:30pm to 1:30pm

Ockendon Centre / Library, Derry Avenue 

Saturday 24 January 10:30am to 12pm

St Peter & St Paul's Church, Orsett Road, Horndon-on-the-Hill

Tuesday 27 January 11am to 12pm

Hardie Park Cafe, Hardie Road, Stanford-le-Hope

Tuesday 27 January 3pm to 4pm

East Tilbury Hub, Princess Avenue

Thursday 29 January 12pm to 1pm

Thurrock Council Cafe, Civic Offices, High Street, Grays 

Friday 30 January 12pm to 1pm

Hardie Park Cafe, Hardie Road, Stanford-le-Hope
