Remembrance at Chadfields

PLAYERS, officials and supporters paid a short tribute to those who fell in conflict before Grays Athletic's home Isthmian North clash against newmarket on Saturday, 8 November.

A parade led by Rod Oakley, chair of Grays Thurrock Royal British Legion preceeded the player's entrance to the pitch and Dave Honeywell, musical director of Grays Town Band, played the Last Post and what has now become a traditional event for Grays at a match closest to Armistice Day.
