CHILDREN at Tudor Court Primary will be celebrating David Attenborough Day tomorrow – an event that marks Sir David's 100th birthday.

Children have been invited to wear clothes with an animal or plant theme, to reflect the life and work of the renowned broadcaster and environmental champion – or dress up as him!

Part of the celebration at the school on Bark Burr Road, Chafford Hundred, will be the opening of a newly created butterfly garden with a butterfly release and representation from the school council and school choir.

Following the opening, there will be a whole school birthday party in a street party format.
