Our weekly preview of 'What's On in Thurrock' picks out a selection of events hosted on our events guide.

Thurrock's Thameside Theatre will be back in pantomime mode this weekend with three performances of Treasure Island.

The 'swashbuckling adventure' features a talented cast of familiar Thameside performers as they take you on an action-packed journey to find the legendary buried treasure.

Saturday will see an appearance by top Motown band The Wesso Brothers at Corringham Village Hall.

On Sunday the Essex Wildlife Trust Thameside Nature Discovery Park will play host to the THAMESIDE 10K, 5K AND 1K (TODDLER) RUNS

And Sunday also brings a sporting matchup for the borough-based LemonFreshUK cup.
