A TEENAGE boy from Stanford-le-Hope has been charged with multiple offences as police continue to attack 'county lines' drug dealing operations in the region.

The 17-year-old was arrested on Wednesday, 17 August following proactive work from the Essex Police anti-drug Operation Raptor Team.

He was charged with being concerned in the supply of a controlled Class B drug, concerned in the supply of cocaine, and acquiring criminal property.

He will next appear in court on 15 November.

Operation Raptor was set up in 2014 to disrupt and dismantle drug supply in Essex. The team gathers intelligence on drugs and gang activity and conducts search warrants to directly target drug dealing in the area.
