Three men are arrested and due in court after kidnap bid

THREE men have been charged with kidnapping a man in Grays on Friday, 14 August.

Police were called shortly after 9.10am with concerns for a man who was seen being assaulted and pushed into a white Audi A6 in Long Lane.

Albinas Vidzikauskas, 46, Dalius Pranskevicius, 35, and Arturas Sakocius, 45, all of no fixed address, have been charged with kidnap.

They are due to appear at Chelmsford Magistrates' Court on Monday, 17 August.

A 41-year-old woman from Grays was arrested on suspicion of kidnap, assisting an offender and possession of firearms offences. She has been released on bail until 10 September.
