Thurrock team cross the bridge and get packing

A team of employees from the Amazon fulfilment centre in Tilbury recently joined foreces with colleague in Dartford and took time out to pack school kits for children at a Dartford primary school. 

500 school kits worth £5,000, were put together for pupils at Dartford Bridge Community Primary School. 

20 employees from across the two fulfilment centres got involved in packing up the kits, which included activity books, stationery sets, bookmarks and more. 

Diana Lazar is one of the Amazon employees from Tilbury who helped with the kit packing. She said: "It was great to come together with my colleagues and pack fun educational kits for the pupils at Dartford Bridge Community Primary School. The event was a huge success, with 500 kits put together in 4 hours. I hope the pupils enjoy their activity books and stationery sets."
