TILBURY Band and supporters will be travelling to Cheltenham on Sunday to compete in the National Brass Band Championships.

They will be one of 19 bands competing in the second section on Sunday afternoon at the Cheltenham Racecourse Centaur building.

The band, because of their performance in the regional championships, will compete in the top section next year so already have success of sorts behind them, but they will be wanting to leave their mark with a good performance in their current group.
