Toppled lorry: Driver is reported for dangerous driving

POLICE have confirmed that an HGV driver, whose lorry toppled onto its side on the Manorway junction with the A13 this week faces prosecution for dangerous driving.

The incident happened on Wednesday evening (16 October).

A statement from Essex Police, which is hoping witnesses to the crash will come forward, says: "We were called to reports a lorry had overturned at the junction of the A13 and the Manorway in Stanford-le-Hope shortly after 10pm on Wednesday 16 October.

"It is not believed anyone has sustained serious injuries but the driver has been reported for dangerous driving.
