OWNERS of a house and plot of land in Stanford-le-Hope are attempting to persuade Thurrock Council that two into one is an acceptable proposition.

An application has been submitted to the council's planning department to demolish an existing dwelling at 281 Southend Road and replace it with two four-bedroomed homes.
