Head Simon Bell added: "We are thrilled to announce this year's brilliant GCSE results. Several subject areas have achieved their best-ever performance, reflecting the ongoing dedication of both our staff and students.
"We are also particularly pleased with our maths results as the team have continued to set challenging targets for students and they have risen to the challenge and met them.
"Students have been incredibly dedicated to their studies and are being rewarded with their remarkable grades.
"Their hard work and efforts have paid off and are being celebrated in an extremely proud day for the students and staff of William Edwards School.
"Today marks a significant milestone for our students, opening doors to many opportunities for our students, whether they choose to pursue A-Levels or embark on a BTEC course.
Among these achievements, Elizabeth L (pictured above) was particularly noteworthy, earning a combination of eight grade 9s and L2 Distinctions, one grade 8, and one grade 7 across subjects as diverse as construction, German, and business studies.
