Virtual Santa arrives to switch on Grays town lights

By Neil Speight 5th Dec 2020

BECAUSE of Covid-19 restrictions it was not possible to host the annual Christmas lights switch-on ceremony in Grays High Street this year - but thanks to the Thameside Young producers Group a virtual event did take place and a video has been created for everyone to share in the magic.

Members of the Young Producers performed in a coronavirus safe way in front of a green screen, with a Grays town entre background and they were able to record Santa's visit to the town centre.
