OUR weekly preview of 'What's On in Thurrock' picks out a selection of events hosted on our events guide.

The latest Bata Open Day will take place on Saturday, 11 October on two sites, the former shoe factory on the industrial estate and East Tilbury Library.

There will be guided tours of the estate starting from 11am and other events. Check it out here.

Saturday also brings a community event for a great cause in Grays.

Thurrock branch of the National Animal Welfare Trust are holding a fundraising table top sale at Stifford Parish Hall, Crammavill Street on starting at 11am.
