Away days in FA Cup for borough sides but Millers game is off

TWO borough sides will be engaged in FA Cup action this weekend, and both will have to travel.

It should have been three matches, but Aveley's tie at Ilford was a very late postponement as the FA have decreed their opponents played an ineligible player in the previous round against Barking and that game is now being replayed today.

The First qualifying round ties for Aveley, Tilbury and East Thurrock United offer the opportunity to earn £2,250 for a win. Losers get £750.

However, Tilbury travel to Ashford Town (Middlesex)and East Thurrock to Cambridge City.

Aveley will play either Barking or Ilford on Tuesday.
