Potters Bar Town 3, East Thurrock United 0

THERE was disappointment for East Thurrock in tonight's (Tuesday, 12 October) Isthmian Premier clash against the Scholars at the LA Construction Stadium.

The visitors went into the match on the back of a morale-boosting win against Hornchurch at the weekend but they were unable to maintain the momentum, falling behind as early as the third minute to Kazaiah Sterling's opening goal.

Rocks enjoyed a fair amount of the ball but were unable to create much in the final third.

They kept the deficit to one until just after the hour when Devonte Aransibia grabbed the hosts' second and the night was rounded off for Bar with Ben Ward Cochrane's 89th minute goal.
