ORSETT Heath Academy and Thurrock Rugby Club hosted the Thurrock School Sport Partnership year 5/6 tag rugby festival.

Eleven schools from across the borough took part ably assisted by year 8 sports leaders from Orsett Heath Academy. The tournament was organised by Alexa Joel (school games organiser) for the Thurrock School Sport Partnership.

The tournament featured some great matches between schools in the pool stages, with the runners up in each pool progressing to a round robin for fourth, fifth and sixth place and the winners of each pool battling it out in a round Robin for the medals.

After some really close matches the results were as follows:

6th Lansdowne

5th Kenningtons

4th Warren

3rd Belmont Castle

2nd Woodside

1st Thameside
