MARTIAL arts youngsters from Thurrock have been celebrating their team's success in a major championship.

A team of students from Thurrock, Kent and London recently went to Belgium to compete in the European Random Attacks Championships. 

24 studentsm, the youngest aged eight, competed, most of them competing in their first international competition. 

It was a very successful competition bringing home six medals, earnd by:

Kieron Metaxas - Silver - Junior Boys 1

Olivia Pasquale - Silver - Junior Girls

Matthew Morse - Bronze -Senior Men's
