PLANS have been drawn up for an event to celebrate 50 years of Linford Wanderers football club later this year.

'Linfest' will be a day-long event taking place at Linford Recreation Ground on Muckingford Road on Saturday, 17 June.

It will feature the Heaters party band, local DJs, singing, dancing and karaoke as well as a range of attractions including inflatables, face painters, bars and foodstalls.
