FA Trophy draw sees Grays get a home tie, while Millers have to travel

GRAYS Athletic have been drawn at home in the FA Trophy Third Qualifying Round, while Aveley - who enter the competition at this stage - will travel to West Sussex.

Grays qualified for the third round with a 4-1 win against Merstham on Sunday. They will play host to fellow Step Four side Faversham Town who play in the Isthmian League South East Division.

Aveley will travel to fellow Isthmian League Premier Division side Horsham. It will be a first-ever meeting of the two sides in the competition with all but one of their previous 31 meetings coming in the league, the most recent of which resulted in a 3-1 victory for the Millers in March 2012.

The ties will be played on Saturday, 8 October,
