AVELEY will be hoping to record only their second win in the Vanorama National League South when they entertain Chippenham at Parkside today (Saturday, 12 October).
With no Premier League Football on because of the international break Aveley are offering £5 entry for all Premier League and EFL season ticket holders.
Millers go into the match in 22nd place, above just Weymouth and St Albans, but just two behind today's visitors.
It's five matches since Aveley gained their only win of the season, beating Dorking Wanderers 3-1 but after an encouraging display at Farnborough last time out, when manager Dannu Scopes saw encouraging signs, there is some optimism within the Parkside camp.
And Millers squad has also been boosted.
Ahead of the match the signing was announced of Ibby Akanbi, who was with Crystal Palace as a youngster before dropping into non-league.
He started this season with Chelmsford City after playing for St Albans last year, where he played 22 matches, scoring six times.
He was also at Dartford on a month's loan and has previously featured for Tonbridge, Worthing, Aldershot and Maidstone.
Also back with the Millers is Hamza Semakula, who has returned from his loan spell with Hendon.
One man not likely to be in the squad is striker Alex Hernandez, who has lit up borough neighbours Tilbury with three goals from four appearances since joining them on a dual registration.
Hernandez, alongside loaneee keeper David Hughes (another Aveley ex) has been part of a Dockers revial that sees them in a position to go into the play-off zone if they beat Felixstowe and Walton, who they entertain at the EMR stadium today.
Tilbury battled back for a 3-3 draw after one point being three goals down at Newmarket in midweek in a match where most refereeing decisions went against them, but the spirit appears strong in the Dockers camp and though Felixstowe are fourth, three places above their hosts, momentum appears to be with Tilbury.
Grays Athletic are without a match this afternoon.
East Thurrock Community FC are at home to Dedham Old Boys, looking to put last week's defeat at Cressing United behind them.
Dedham have just one win from 11 league matches, and sit tenth. Rocks are 14th and second from bottom but do have two wins to their name after a revival that was ended last week but manager John Coventry jnr may have a stronger squad to select from at home today.
