THERE are two matches in the borough this afternoon (Saturday, 12 November) and both are set to be entertaining affairs. 

Aveley, who are fifth in the Isthmian Premier, play host to near neighbours Hornchurch, who top the table. 

The Urchins are on a six match unbeaten run while Millers will be looking to bounce back after last wee's defeat against Cray.

East Thurrock, who are on a tremendous run that has seen them climb the table to the fringe of the promotion race, entertain Maldon & Tiptree who got their first win of the season last time out.

Grays Athletic are fifth and go to second-placed AFC Sudbury.

Tilbury have been having a torrid time of late and will have a tough test trying to avoid a fifth successive defeat at Felixstowe and Walton United, who are fourth.
