AFTER a couple of disappointing cup exits, Aveley return to National League South action today (Saturday, with a trip to Hampton and Richmond Borough.

It will undoubtedly be a tough test. While Aveley have slipped to tenth in the table after being in the play-off zone for much of it, Hampton currently cling to the seventh play-off spot.

Grays Athletic are at home (at Chadfields) to Walthamstow in the Isthmian North, hoping to elevate themselves to 15th position. The sides drew 1-1 when they met in October.

After the end of their FA Vase run, Tilbury will be seeking to stamp their authority on the Essex Senior League, which they lead by five points, with an emphatic win at bottom club Coggeshall Town.
