AVELEY'S final home match of the regular Isthmian Premier season this afternoon (Saturday, 15 April) sees the Millers play host to Horsham as they seek to cement their place in the promotion-play-offs.

Horsham themselves still have a mathematical chance of getting into the fifth and final spot so it will be no pushover for Danny Scopes' side.

The destiny of the division title could be decided today, a win for Bishops Stortford at home to sixth-placed Enfield Town would give them an unassailable lead with one match to go.

The incentive for Millers to win today, and in their rearranged derby at Canvey Island on Tuesday evening, is the opportunity to be at home in a play-off semi-final.

Aveley conclude their league season with a trip to Enfield next Saturday, so it's certanly not an easy final run in.

Champions can also be crowned in the Isthmian North today where it looks highly probably as leaders Hashtag United need just a point against lowly Great Wakering Rovers to continue their rapid elevation up the non-League ladder.

Tilbury will have an half an eye on that result but will largely be concentrating on getting a win at Wroxham.

The full value of any points they gain may not be known today as the side immediately above Dockers, Witham, were due to play host to Felixstowe and Walton United, but that match has been postponed. Also not in action due to recent downpours are another of the relegation zone sides, Coggeshall Town whose trip to bottom club Hullbridge was washed out.

For Tilbury, following Tuesday's 1-1 draw at home to Brentwood, it's really all about what they can achieve themselves as they bid to avoid automatic relegation - which could happen today - and keep alive their hopes of avoiding the end-of-season relegation play-off altogether.

At the other end of the table Grays will be hoping to hang on to fifth place and a play-off spot.

Their match at Bury Town survived a morning pitch inspection.

East Thurrock United's home derby with Basildon United did not - so the Rocks have a penultimate Saturday off before the summer break.
