GRAYS live to fight another day and will go into the FA Cup second preliminary round draw after a last gasp equaliser from defender Callum Leahy who rounded off a 'man of the match' performance in heroic style.

There was little between the sides in the first half that was strong on effort but short of true quality and a cutting edge.

Neither keeper was threatened and though Grays did get the ball in the net through Charlie Stimson at one point, the flag has long been raised for an offside making his effort meaningless.

The deadlock was finally broken on 58 minutes when the visitors' Micah Jackson struck a great low angled effort past diving Blues stopper Danny Sambridge.

Grays tried heard to get back on level terms and once more there was plenty of effort but it looked as if it was all in vain until Leahy rose in a packed penalty area to head home a corner from close range.

The replay will be on Wednesday (23 August) at the White Hart Lane Stadium that New Salamis groundshare with Haringey Borough.
