IT'S as you were and a replay for the Rocks after Saturday's FA Cup preliminary round clash at Rookery Hill ended all square.

They forced a draw with a spectacular late strike from Ayo Odukoya and in added time the hosts came close to grabbing a winner, only to be foiled by some desperate but effective Barton defending.

The first half ended goalless, with both sides having efforts that went close, with Barton keeper Cam Groom keeping out efforts from Pat Ahearn and Mo Amir.

At the other end Rocks keeper Antoni Bort had to be alert to deny Barton the lead and Ben Wyss was active at both ends, blocking a goalbound shot and then going close with a strike just past the woodwork.

The tempo increased in the second half and Odukoya tested Groom with an audacious overhead effort.

Bort kept the scores level with a fine one-handed save, but the opener arrived on 74 minutes when Taylor Rhiney volleyed in from close range.

It looked enough to win the tie but Odukoya won a free kick on the edge of the box in the 90th minute and struck a shot into the top right hand corner. The closing moments were frantic as Rocks push for a winner but in the end it ended all square and the replay will take place at Sharpenhoe Road on Wednesday (23 August).
