THERE'S a bumper day of action at Oakfield today (Saturday, 13 September) where four matches will take place.

After being awarded last week's scheduled match at Cooperians, Thurrock First will be hoping to make a positive start to their London & SE Division Essex One season against Campion (3pm).

The match will be preceded by the U16s' match against Westcliff (12noon), the seconds against Maldon Seconds (2.15pm) and the thirds' game against their Wanstead counterparts (2pm.)

The action continues on Sunday as both the T-Birds and Colts are in action.

The ladies are also at Oakfield, starting their Championship South campaign against London Irish (2.30pm).

The T-Birds have been training hard and enjoyed a good win against Brunel Uni at home last Saturday and then went on to enjoy a great evening with the men's team on a joint Cowboy/girl themed social!
