AFTER a weekend off, Thurrock RFC mens firsts return to Oakfield this afternoon (Saturday, 9 November), hoping for a first win of their London & SE Division Regional 2 South East campaign.
It may be a tough ask as bottom-of-the-table Tees play host to Medway, who sit fourth with five wins to their name to date.
Thurrock Seconds have a derby trip to Warners Bridge Park where they will meet their Southend counterparts in the Group 1 Automotive Essex Merit League Division One. Saxons are currently fourth, with three wins from four while Thurrock are bottom with just one bonus point from three outings.
Tomorrow Thurrock T-Birds Seconds will be at home to Chelmsford in the Women's NC 1 South East (North). T-Birds have played just two matches in the division, winning both and sit fifth, a place behind Sunday's visitors who have three wins from five matches.
T-Birds will be in optimisic mode having won last week's home clash with table-leading Eton Manor 33-29, a result that followed the 62-0 blitizing of East London Vixens in the Papa Johns Cup.
