Tees chase return to the top on their travels, Stanford and Pegs are at home while unbeaten Thames travel

AFTER the steamrollering of Billericay last week, which took Thurrock theoretically to the top of the London & South East Essex One table, Tees are on the road today (Saturday, 18 October, with a trip to Chingford.
However, the decline of struggling Old Cooperians from the competition has meant the loss of five points awarded for a walkover to Thurrock, who drop to third as a result.
Chingford are seventh with a win and two relatively close defeats but have yet to play anyone from the top echelon so Thurrock will be pre-match favourites.
Stanford-le-Hope will be looking to add to their solitary win from four outings, and will be optimistic of getting a positive return from today's home match at the Rec against Upminster who are a place below them in ninth.
Thurrock Seconds will be home to Brentwood Seconds in the Group 1 Automotive Essex Merit League Division One, where Pegasus Palmerians are also at home at Palmer's Campus, on Chadwell Road, Grays , entertaining Harlow Seconds.
In Division Two of the Essex Merit League unbeaten Thames, with three wins from three outings, travel to meet to fourth-placed Runwell Wyverns.
