Looking for something free to do with family and friends this Saturday?
Join us for A Place at the Table: Celebrating Our Community, the grand finale of the 12th annual T100 Festival, bringing together local residents, artists, performers, schools and community groups from across Thurrock for an afternoon of creativity, food and celebration.
Pack a picnic, bring a blanket and settle in for a relaxed afternoon filled with live music, poetry, storytelling, theatre, singing, community artwork and hands-on creative activities for all ages.
Highlights include:
Graffiti workshops with Scotty Brave
Singing workshops with Together Productions
Performances by the T100 Young Ambassadors and Nigel Munson of 6 Foot Stories
Live poetry with Rachel Morgan
T100 Stories with Laura Trevail
Community exhibitions and artwork created by local people
The day begins with a colourful flag parade led by Jean Claude Lionbeat and his BASSIS bike, celebrating the creativity, stories and friendships that have shaped this year's festival.
Whether you stay all afternoon or just drop by for an hour, everyone is welcome.
