Events in Bulphan to mark the 80th anniversary of VE Day on Thursday, 8 May

8am Proclamation by Town Crier

2 - 4: afternoon tea with "Out of the Blue" ukulele band. Free to Bulphan residents and regular community cafe customers. £5 to others: please get your tickets for paid and free teas from the community cafe by Friday (2 May) or email [email protected]

6.30pm Ringing of the church bells

From 8.30pm: "Waiting for Derek" covers band will play and the bar will be open

9.30pm Declaiming of The Tribute, bagpipes and lighting of the beacon
