THE Friends of Hardie Park, a Stanford-le-Hope charity supported by the local Co-op stores on Stanford High Street and Gardner Way in Corringham, marked Father's Day 2020 by walking a mile to remember a dad.

The initiative from the Co-op, who supplied the commemorative T-Shirts, was to encourage families not just to mark and remember the special bond between a dad and his children, but to help well-being and fitness by getting people out in the open air and taking exercise.

The Adams family from Stanford and Sheila and John Burt did just that this morning (Sunday, 21 June).

Also donning his special T-Shirt and walking for his Dad was Hardie Park CEO Rob Groves.
