Two 'Five fors' for Belhus

Saturday 22nd May, Belhus CC 1st XI earned their first Essex Premier Division League away win of the season by 20 runs v Hadleigh & Thundersley.

Belhus CC 1st XI batted first, scoring a creditable 193 for 7 on a difficult day for batting. Dan Norris led the bowling attack and took a '5for' - 5 wickets for 31 runs.

Whilst Norris takes all the headlines for his superb "5for", it was also another impressive Essex Premier League bowling performance from Connor Day, bowling his five overs and only giving up 10 runs.

Belhus CC 1st XI now look forward to the Essex Premier league challenge of "high flying" Wanstead and Snaresbrook at North Stifford, this coming Saturday, 29th May.

Truly exciting fayre at North Stifford with the Belhus CC 2nd XI securing another 1-run League victory! – also v Hadleigh & Thundersley.

Brandon Millard bowled superbly, taking 5 wickets for 28 runs off 8 overs – his maiden '5for' for the club. However, in a tense finish, Belhus 2nd XI captain, Guilbert gave the last over to young starlet, Gus Philpot who clean bowled the impressive Hadleigh & Thundersley batsman, Anthony Grosvenor to secure victory.

Whilst Belhus CC 3rd XI struggled for runs at Upminster, it was a fine individual batting performance from Tipu Samsuddin, scoring 55, that brought Belhus within 14 runs of their hosts at Coopers.

The Belhus CC 4th XI entertained Hadleigh & Thundersley at the Ockendon Rec. The Belhus CC 4th XI's first-ever Tie in the Essex league. Robert Long continues his good form in the 4th XI giving up just 17 runs from 8 overs, an impressive bowling economy of 2.13
