BENCHES were residents can enjoy reflective moments have been installed at the social housing development on Heathlyn Close in Chadwell st Mary.

The benches were installed by RGE Services in a sheltered and newly paved area as part of its social value commitment to the Thurrock Council fire safety maintenance contract that the company currently looks after.

RGE senior contracts manager Carl Bruce says: "The benches provide somewhere for the residents to sit and socialise with each other, which obviously is great benefit, not just mentally for the individuals, but also helps to create a local neighbourhood network.

"As a company we have been providing both electrical & fire PPM, EICR, installation & testing services to the public sector for over 35 years.

"We have an extremely helpful and knowledgeable team, which is expanding, and currently over employ over 200 members of staff."

Resident engagement officer Connie White has passed on thanks to RGE, saying: "The benches look absolutely wonderful."
