Borough youngsters commit to the Police Cadet Force

YOUNG people from Thurrock have been praised for their commitment to their community after signing up to become police cadets.

Assistant Chief Constable Rachel Nolan and Chief Superintendent Jenny Barnett were on hand to present new recruits with their certificates and chat to them about their experiences of being a part of the Essex Police structure.

A statement from the force said: "Congratulations to our Thurrock Cadets who were sworn is as volunteer police cadets at a ceremony, attended by their families."
