ARTHUR Bugler Primary School in Stanford-le-Hope has announced the outcome of its recent fundraising event, generating £3,725 in aid of the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation).

The money was raised through collaborative efforts of the school community and spearheaded by the proactive initiative of the School Council who organised the event.

Every year group was challenged to develop and deliver a fundraising activity to raise the most money for JDRF (their chosen Charity of the Year). From bake sales to skipathons to festive fun runs - the effort and creativity was tremendous across the school!

Headteacher Richard Turner, said: "I am thrilled by the incredible support from our community and the brilliant total raised for JDRF.

"It's heartwarming to witness the collective effort, in backing a cause that hits so close to home with some of our very own children living with diabetes. Our commitment towards making a difference shines through with these inspiring efforts!"

The funds raised will be directed entirely to JDRF, supporting vital work in research and assistance for individuals and families affected by Type 1 Diabetes.

A school statement adds: "Arthur Bugler Primary School extend their profound gratitude to their children, families and community whose unwavering support made this achievement possible.

"Their generosity and involvement serve as a testament to the school's community spirit and dedication to making a meaningful difference."
