POLICE officers investigating an attempted robbery in South Ockendon have released an image of a man they want to speak to in connection with their investigation and are asking the public to help identify him.

It was reported that a man was approached from behind as he walked along Arisdale Avenue at around 9.15am on Wednesday, 21 December 2022 when he was assaulted.

The suspect was last seen heading towards the railway station.

A police statement says: "If you have any information, CCTV, dash cam or other footage in relation to this incident, then please get in contact with us.
