ON Christmas Eve and in the wake or weeks of many companies turning up at its warehouse in Corringham, Thurrock foodbank has issued a thanks to the people and businesses of Thurrock.

Over recent weeks Thurrock Nub News has featured many significant donations of food from companies - and individuals -to the Foodbank.

Among the latest to donate were Supreme Carpets and Flooring who gifted 59.4kg of Christmas donations, Fowler Martin whose gift was arranged by Mary Pasquale, and Peter Flack and all at Express Freight Services in Tilbury where staff handed over their bonus Christmas Morrisons gift vouchers to the charity.

Business co-ordinator at Thurrock Foodbank, Sandra Sawle, said: "Thank-you to everyone who has donated food or money during this exceptional year and grateful thanks to our fantastic volunteers who have worked tirelessly throughout the year."
