Firefighters tackled caravan blaze at Lakeside that was started deliberately
FIREFIGHTERS rushed to deal with an incident at Lakeside, West Thurrock, this evening (Saturday, 27 January).
The blaze in the car park at the Tesco superstore was spotted around 8.45pm.
A statement from Essex Fire and Rescue says: "We were called to Tesco in Cygnet View, West Thurrock at 8.51pm.
"A caravan was alight and crews from Orsett and Grays attended and extinguished the fire by 9.15pm. They left the scene at 10.03pm.
"The cause has been determined as deliberate."
