Health and knitting click together at the Wharf

THE calming experience of knitting will take centre stage at an event at the Wharf pub in Grays next month.

The Needles and Chat  social group will be staging a 'Happy Knitting Day for Mental Health' at the pub on Wharf Road South (RM17 6SZ) from noon to 3pm on Saturday, 8 October.

The proceeds from the event, which is free to attend but will feature a raffle and cake stall, will be donated to Thurrock Mind.
